Endorsements from Parents |
Sav,
Thanks for keeping in touch. Matt’s doing well at Watford; played against Watford’s own Development Centre and definitely not outclassed!
Thanks for all you did with him; his confidence was battered after Wycombe and you and the guys built him up again with just the right encouragement. You showed him the right way to play and reinstated his self-confidence. He loved the Devon tour and still talks about you and the others all the time and will definitely keep in touch!
I would recommend Skill 7 to any parent who is serious about providing their child with top quality coaching and an environment for learning, development and most of all, enjoyment.
Yours,
David.

Dear Sav,
Many thanks for making Ben's party so special. He really enjoyed it and you made it so personal which he loved. On a horrible wet and windy day, to have over 20 boys cheering, smiling and having a blast
is some feat!!!! Even though they were covered in mud from head to toe they all had a fab time, especially Ben, who had been looking forward to this party so much.

We just want to say a very big thank you for all yours and David's hard work, on such a dreadful weather day, to make it so much fun for all the boys. We have had very positive feed back from the parents and the boys were all talking about it still at school on the Monday!!
As far as Charlie was concerned you are "the best coach ever." Raymond said it was his best party ever - he has been told he will have to wait now until he is 18 for the next big party!
We hope you were not too exhausted by it all and that we will see you on Friday.

Hi Sav,
Thank you for Harry's invitation to continue with the Elite training. Both Harry's Elite form and Cameron's and Harry's After School forms are in the post!
I also have a kit order form for the Elite session.
Changing the subject completely, don't you just love HMRC! VAT on children's fitness!...and when parents stop their children from doing these courses because of the cost, who will get the blame for increased levels of child obesity? End of rant. lol
I hope this doesn't have an adverse affect on Skill 7. Even with VAT Skill 7 is still the best value for money.
Have a great time in Cyprus, you deserve it.
Frances.

Hi Sav
Just a quick e-mail to thank you and all the guys for arranging the week in Devon – I hope Jake didn't give you any trouble!
He arrived home on Friday and was absolutely exhausted after a week getting some fresh air and exercise instead of sat indoors playing on the Xbox!
A lot of his mates at Stratton are really good at football and although he loves to play he always feels he is the worst player and doesn't see much of the ball so he was especially pleased to come home with a trophy.
When he crawled into bed on Friday night, he just managed to say “I can go again next year can't I?” before passing out!!!
Anyway he had a great time and met some other really nice kids and loved the football.
Pass on our thanks to David and Chris who he mentioned as well.
Hope it doesn't take you too long to recover.
Cheers

Dear Sav,
I would like to thank-you for organising Skill 7 in Cippenham last week. My son Joseph had a fantastic time and learned lots of new tricks to improve his game. I was particularly impressed with the calibre of the training team. David who led the team was patient and kind with the children whilst still maintaining a high level of discipline. The young members of the team were equally impressive. They were competent, enthusiastic and fun.
Joseph cannot wait until October for the next course. Please keep me informed.
Once again thank you and I look forward to hearing about the next course.
Much love, Catherine Stewart

Dear Sav,
I would just like to say that since Daniel has been training with Elite he has grown in
confidence, before hand he would have played his part in the team and only
got involved when the ball came to him. But more and more he is looking for
the ball in these practice matches even pushing himself in to midfield to
get it. He has just go the Parents Player of the year and Sponsors player
of the year trophies for his own team (Abbots Youth).

Hi Sav,
Ray’s assessment brought him (and us) up with a sharp jolt. I've not had the time with him (its difficult enough to walk, playing football is another Country!). We are working out ways to ensure He's not so knackered by Friday night. So, what great news today when he comes home with the trophy!
Elizabeth mentioned that Baz would be moving to the FA, and presumably no longer involved with Skill 7. The pair of you have changed our lives, by taking Ray, with his split-vision, and working with him. We could never thank you enough. W'ed like to give you and Baz a Dinner here (please bring other halves) as a combined congrats and thank you, if you would be so kind as to join us.

Abbots Langley Easter Course
Sav,
They are both really excited, Charlie thinks he's Rooney, and Max changed his mind with just one ‘you've done so well’ from you! Superb.
Can't believe you turned Max around from Monday night when he didn't want to ever play football again, he now wants to be the best goalie! – they have a really chuffed dad!! (and mum of course). Thanks so much to you and all the guys, hope you sleep as well as my guys are right now!

Harry attended a course at Divine Saviour on Monday this week but couldn't attend Tuesday due to illness. However, in his absence his friend advised that his name had been called out to attend 'Elite' which he is most excited about.

Hello Savva,
I've been meaning to get in touch for a while to say I hope you are well and all is going the way you want to be. It's a pity that the Elite are now meeting on a Friday, as Jamie has his Bushey Rangers practice then. I had envisaged a bit of a farewell thing at the end of this season (as its been so many years now (about 8 or so I think)! so I just wanted to wish you all the best and to thank you for the great work you do. Jamie has a great deal of respect for the way you motivate everyone and promote discipline in the game (its how it should be).
All our very best wishes

Hello Sav,
I just wanted to say thank you for offering to ferry Jordan back and forth to the new venue, after careful consideration Jordan decided that it would be too long a night, at least 1 hour there and 1 hour back, and then the training. Needless to say, he is absolutely gutted as he has enjoyed training and playing for you. I also wanted to say thank you for everything you have done for Jordan, and the experiences that you have given him, which have made him the player he is today. I do hope, with fingers crossed, that one day Hatfield will work for you and Jordan can try out with you again! Jordan will always remember his first game against Reading :0)
I would still like to receive the emails with dates and venues when you send them out.
Thanks again

Ben Hooper - Fulham F.C. Development Centre Acceptance
Sav,
You may have already heard that 3 kids out of 30 were selected to go into Fulham football club development centre and Ben was one of them. Unfortunately, with travel and training commitments, Ben will no longer be able to attend holiday courses or the Skill 7 Elite sessions, which played a very valuable part in Ben's development over the years. Thanks to you and your coaches for this.
We hope the Elite sessions continue to help kids move on. Keep up the good work and you never know, with Ben at Fulham for 12 months, may be back!
Big thanks from Ben.

Dylan Kaye Birthday Party
November 2006
Hi Sav,
First I would like to thank you so much for Dylan's party on saturday, all the boys had a wonderful time, and that was because you made the day so very enjoyable and fun. I was amazed how you kept all the boys focused and interested. Dylan told me it was the best party he had ever had and that was all down to you. Let me close now by just saying that the party was only for a couple of hours but the memories for Dylan and Nathan will last a lifetime. Julia and i once again thank you all.
p.s. Please let us know if you feel that Dylan could play or train in any other way with skill 7

I have to say that Bradley said it was the best party he has ever had and really really enjoyed himself. I have had good feed back from the parents/kids that came and I will be passing your number and e-mail address on to all who were interested in having a skill 7 party.
Bradley slept well last night so you must have worn him out! The other coaches were good fun with the kids too - I couldn't fault any part of the party.
Thanks again
